As per the decision taken during the 4th TCB meeting, the revision of tourist tariff to be effective from 1st July, 2009.
The tariff for peak months will be USD 250.00 per person per night with 10% agent’s commission. The tariff for the regular months will be USD 200.00 per night with 10% agent’s commission.
The regular months have been designated as January, June and July only and the rest will be considered as peak months.
Diplomats discount has been discontinued under the Rules and Regulations for Tour Operators in Bhutan 1999 (RRTOB 1999).
The duration discount will be offered on royalty only and will be effective from the 9th night as follows:
- Peak months: USD 45.00
- Regular months: USD 40.00
This announcement supersedes sections 1(a), and 5(a) and 5(e) of the Rules and Regulations for Tour Operators in Bhutan 1999.
All other provisions including the royalty will continue to apply as per the RRTOB 1999.
